We’ve cracked the code of making healthy, delicious jerky, with our recipe honed after years of making it ourselves. Unlike traditional jerky, our jerky lets the taste of our Australian Organic, Grass-fed Beef shine through. Our jerky is not oily or sugary sweet but is still easy to chew and will leave you craving more after downing a pack.

Our sticks are unlike any salami stick you’ve ever had. Typically, our fans describe them as incredibly moorish, tasting something in between a traditional salami and a kabana, but without the fat or oiliness you’d find in a conventional stick. And because they’re made with only good quality, real ingredients, they won’t leave you feeling heavy or gross either.

The beef we use is 100% Australian Organic, Grass-fed beef from wide open, free-range farms in NSW and QLD where the animals are allowed to graze naturally. The beef is free from added hormones and antibiotics and does not contain GMOs.

The pork we use is 100% Certified Free Range Pork from WA. Being Certified Free Range allows us to know that the animals are not contained in pens for their whole life and that the farmers adhere to a much higher degree of animal welfare than conventionally raised pork.

All our snacks are perfect to be enjoyed by the whole family. An ideal addition to the school lunchbox, a convenient snack for busy parents on the go or for those health-conscious snackers looking for something to refuel on mid-afternoon.

Yes! Our own kids love our meat snacks, and we think yours will love them too, just like the thousands of parents who share our snacks in their kids' lunchboxes every week. Like everything, we recommend you consult a dietician if you require specific dietary advice.

Our snacks are major allergen free. This includes being free of gluten, dairy and soy.

We recommend you consult a doctor or dietician for specific dietary advice while pregnant or breastfeeding and consuming our snacks.

Our jerky products are cooked as it reaches 67C for a period of time to eliminate any potential pathogens in the meat and then dried for shelf stability.

Our snack sticks are fermented and heat treated products, which are prepared and cured similar to how you would make a shelf-stable salami.

Because we only use natural curing methods in our meat snacks, adding sea salt (and the salt within coconut aminos) is an essential ingredient to be able to naturally preserve our jerky and sticks and ensure they are safe to eat. That being said, our meat snacks are indeed lower in sodium than traditional jerky and snack sticks.

We view sodium as an essential mineral in our diets, especially for those of us with very active lifestyles. However, please consult your doctor or dietician about your specific dietary needs.

Coconut aminos is a sauce crafted from the sap of coconut trees, providing a soy-free and gluten-free alternative to soy sauce. It undergoes natural fermentation and is blended with salt, offering a slightly sweeter, umami-rich flavour especially suitable for those with soy allergies.

Our coconut aminos is certified organic, is GMO-free and sourced from the Philippines.

KOOEE! is not certified Halal but only sources beef from certified Halal beef producers.

Please note: 

• Our Beef Jerky does not contain any pork based products and is made in a separate factory that only produces beef products. 
  
• Our Beef Sticks do not contain any pork based products including the collagen casing which is derived from cows. However, our sticks are produced in a factory that also produces pork products and some machinery is shared. KOOEE! makes every effort to ensure thorough cleaning takes place between proteins.

Our Beef Jerky has a maximum shelf life of 9 months from date of manufacture.

Our Snack Sticks have a maximum total shelf life of 7 months from date of manufacture.

Of course, the actual shelf life of products received will vary, but please let us know if you have specific requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate them at the time.

Each 30g pack of KOOEE! beef jerky contains 1.44mg of iron (we got this tested in a lab!).

Each 25g KOOEE! beef snack stick contains 0.75mg of iron (lab-tested result).

No, just store them out of direct light and under 25C. However, you can store them in the fridge if you'd like!
